 Creston Collies was established in 2003. Although we are considered new to the Florida area, we are not new to the Collie world. We bought our first Collie in Canada in 1972, and showed and bred for several years. We took a break from showing and breeding when we had our children, but this never stopped us from owning and loving these beautiful dogs. Now that our children are grown and we have semi-retired to Florida, we have decided it was time to get back into showing and breeding. Our kennel is located on 5 acres in Brooksville, Florida. First and foremost, our priority was getting started again with a fantastic line of dogs. We wanted to find a breeder to work with whose dogs had great faces, were clear-eyed, had good structure and movement, and had great dispositions. We know we had found this when we met Connie & Shirley DuBois of Sylvan Collies. The last couple of years have been exciting for us. I am proud to have finished my first 2 bred by exhibitor champions- CH Sylvan Creston's To Infinity and Beyond (Amy) and CH Sylvan Creston's Beyond Belief (Adam). We bred Orion to Dovey who produced a beautiful litter. We kept Haley who finished very quickly at 14 months of age. Claire also produced her last litter and we kept Maddie who will replace her mother as our tri brood bitch. Jo-C had a single puppy in December 2010. Chanel is living up to her diva name & looking absolutely beautiful. She continues to do well in the 2011 shows and look for even better things to come in 2012.
